Joshua A. Levin has written short stories (currently being submitted for publication), blogs, poems, television, short films, feature scripts, and a currently unpublished novel “INHUMAN RESOURCES”. He had a brilliant scheme in which people borrow the book upon signing up, in exchange for its return with a blurb if liked (at www.inhumanresourcesbook.com), but got inundated with robots (often young, attractive robots from foreign countries with slightly off kilter names— a peculiar algorithm is working hard for small potatoes!) and is now postponed until further notice. Though you can still check out the site to find out about the book.
Below are excepts and stories posted by permission of the author.
INHUMAN RESOURCES excerpt:

HEAVY METAL MEMORIES

AND THEY CAME ON HORSES… (down the condiment aisle)

At Whole Foods I counted seven varieties of ketchup, twelve of mayonnaise, more craft beers than I could number and a coffee flavored with lemon (the last being a terrible idea – is there a reason coffee shouldn’t taste like coffee?).
As much as God may be in the details, it seems just as easy to ignore larger concerns and get lost in them. This artisan culture feels more and more like a kind of navel gazing for those who found the poetry they wrote as adolescents not myopic enough. I am as guilty as anyone, as the specialty ketchup I chose was phenomenal and not wanting it to go to waste, I proceeded to use it with food it had no business being on. It’s just that when the four horsemen arrive, don’t be surprised if Famine is strapped with a bandolier of jalapeño infused and gluten-free condiments and his saddle is hand-crafted in bespoke fashion by wax-mustachioed leather workers from Bushwick.
